Fields Corner Main Street Accepting Board of Directors Nominations Fields Corner Main Street is seeking new people committed to working to enhance and promote the Fields Corner business district to fill open positions on our Board of Directors. Nominations are now being accepted for terms beginning in July 2008. Board meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. In addition to serving a two-year term, each board member is asked to commit four to six hours a month to Main Street efforts and projects by participating on a committee. Each member also is needed to play a role in our annual fundraising efforts. For information or to apply, contact FCMS at 617.474.1432 or fcms@fieldscorner.org. Applications are due Friday, February 29, 2008.

Every third Wednesday of the month from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m., the Area B?3 Dorchester/Mattapan Neighborhood Council meeting is held at the Mildred Avenue Community Center, 5 Mildred Ave., Mattapan, MA. Police and community representatives will be available to address and answer community related questions.
