This workshop gives families a comprehensive overview of the statewide standardized test. Participants will engage in activities that will help them understand what is expected on the exam, including techniques to help students do well. Participants will receive suggestions on how they can help their children at home. This workshop will be presented in Spanish and English. This workshop covers a variety of topics to help parents support at home what their children are learning in the classroom. Parents will discuss why homework is important, how to make homework time a productive learning time and how to help their children develop good study habits.
