Join us every second Wednesday for a fun and relaxed ride home. This ride is open to all. Meet at the Boston Common, Brewer Fountain near Park St station, and head home together down Dorchester Avenue as a group, obeying all traffic regulations. We will be meeting at 5:30pm, after a short chat we will leave at 5:40pm.
We will be meeting again at the Blessed Mother Theresa Church on the corner of Dot Ave and Columbia Road at 6pm if you miss the Common meeting.
Meet up at either stop to ride down Dot Ave.
Most of the time we go to a restaurant or ice cream shop to hang out after the ride so if you can you are welcome to join us.
If you want to be part of our ride you have to have a helmet, and you have to sign a waiver at either the Common or the church. We don’t go too fast so everyone of every skill level is welcome.
The ride will go on no matter what. If it is heavy rain or lightning you still might find someone braving the ride, but it might be a good idea to catch next months ride!
The primary aims of this ride are to allow dotbikers to meet each other while having fun participating in the activity that has brought us together and to promote driver awareness. Let’s get drivers used to seeing bicyclists sharing the roads of Dorchester. Please see www.dotbike.org Dot Bike Ride Home page for more.

For over two centuries Second Church in Dorchester stands with its Steeple overlooking the neighborhoods of greater Boston. On April 26, 2008 at 3:00 pm the church celebrates its Lineage, Legacy and Leverage with a High Tea. The community is invited to attend. Second Church is located at the corner of Washington St and Talbot Ave in Codman Square.
Presentations at the High Tea highlight the historical significance of Second Church in Dorchester by presenting: Snapshots of historical events, transitions and current occurrences in the process of revitalizing our community; Progress on the newly renovated Historical Room; “Project Angel Wings” – a collaboration of Boston Project Ministries, Boston Trinity Academy and Park Street Church’s Cross Walk together with Second Church plan for the reconstruction, restoration and revitalization of the Codman Cemetery; and, Second Church, its facility, its history and its legacy, as a national and historical gem.
