The City School
Location(s)
We are not a regular school. We are here with a different spirit of learning during out-of-school time. The City School is a learning community developing the long-term leadership of diverse young people concerned with social justice. The City School is a center for civic education that develops leaders for long-term action on social issues. Founded in 1995 by Cathedral High School, Boston Latin School, and Milton Academy, The City School (TCS) operates "out of school time" programs that stress critical thinking and ethical reasoning in an experiential, interdisciplinary context. Our programs unite high school students from the full range of our society in an approach that combines three components: community service, academic study, and leadership development.
