Participation in local community
Proactivity in a social context [empowerment, activism, efficacy, agency,]
Feelings of trust and safety
Neighborhood connections
Family and friends connections
Work connections
Tolerance of diversity
Communities express these characteristics differently based on their particular norms, values, traditions and opportunities.
