On Saturday, April 26 ^th the city of Boston will once again hold “Boston Shines”. As with previous years, we will be organizing volunteers to help clean the park and the surrounding streets. Unlike other years, however, we are planning to have a neighborhood BBQ following the clean up. With this event, we hope to increase community spirit and solidarity, as well as thank the folks who do their part to help make the park a more beautiful place.

We could use your help in the form of volunteers and donations.

Volunteer needs:

- people to help distribute flyers (prior to event)

- Boston Shines crewmembers

- people to help set up the BBQ

- people to help pick up food, drinks and other supplies

- people to tend the grills

- people to gather information during the BBQ

Donations and loans needed:

- grills

- food (hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, beverages, condiments, chips, desserts)

- plates, napkins, utensils
