Mission:

Countdown to Kindergarten Play to Learn groups are free parent-child playgroups for children ages 1-3 and their caregivers. Come play and learn with us! They are led by an early childhood educator and include time for free play, circle time, snack, and gross motor/sensory play. Playgroups provide a safe place where parents can play with their child, meet other caregivers and children, and get information about a wide variety of community resources. Any Boston resident with a 1-3 year old child can attend. Registration is required, but is ongoing, and each playgroup is limited to 8-15 families. Some playgroups have Spanish or Haitian speaking leaders, but ALL families are welcome. For more information, for a schedule, or to register, please contact Joanna Nelson at 617-635-9656 or jnelson2@boston.k12.ma.us.
