On Saturday, May 17th there will be a community press event at the Shawmut T station to celebrate the grand opening of the Shawmut Gardens. Volunteers are needed on the day of the event from 8 a.m.- 12 p.m. to help prepare the area, set-up tables and chairs, paint faces, and generally assist as needed. The event will take place on the Tunnel Cap. Please contact the SCI AmeriCorps office to volunteer for this event.
