Full time Americorps VISTA position with Countdown to Kindergarten
Description:
Countdown to Kindergarten is seeking a motivated individual to fill an Americorps VISTA year of service position as the Play to Learn Program Specialist from August 2008 through August 2009. This person will work closely with the Play to Learn Project Coordinator, and playgroup site leaders to build capacity and sustainability for Countdown to Kindergarten's free parent-child playgroup program. It is a fantastic opportunity to learn about non-profit program management, outreach, and evaluation from the inside while assisting with expansion and development of an innovative early childhood education, parenting education, and family engagement strategy.
