DIRECTOR OF ADVANCEMENT

Elizabeth Seton Academy is seeking a full-time Director of Advancement.  The position includes all aspects of fundraising—strategic planning, Annual Fund, Major Donors, the identification, cultivation and solicitation of new donors, events, foundation and grant work—that lead to significant growth in community partnership and investment in Elizabeth Seton Academy’s mission.  The Director of Advancement reports to the Board of Trustees through the Chair of the Advancement Committee. The Director of Advancements works collaboratively with the President and Principal. 

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a creative person with an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to make a difference.  Commitment to the mission of the school, maturity, excellent presentation, writing and computer skills are required.  Experience with Raiser’s Edge is preferred.  Minimum educational requirement is a BA (MA preferred) with 3 – 5 years of non-profit fundraising experience

Elizabeth Seton Academy is a private high school for girls in a pleasant Dorchester neighborhood with “T” access.
