Brief
Description:
The Group Leader will be
responsible for supervising and supporting youth participants of the licensed
after school program at 1353 Dorchester Avenue.
This program provides youth with the personal attention and support they
need to enhance their self-esteem, improve their academic skills and recognize
their potential as community leaders.
Qualifications:
Excellent
written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of youth development
practices that connect in-school learning to the out-of-school environment and
encourage parental engagement.
Ability
to work with staff and external collaborators to develop a holistic program
that includes arts, sports, technology, life skills, and culturally appropriate
activities. Experience working in
multicultural setting. Current certification in CPR
and First Aid.
