Win $300

If you are 14 years old or younger*, paint your favorite Dorchester scene on the face of a brick and enter the contest to win $300. The Dorchester Historical Society will award two $300 prizes to the painters of the bricks judged to be the best. In exchange the Society will keep the winning bricks for its collection.

Although not required, you can start by attending a painting class at one of these branches of the Boston Public Library:

Adams Street- Wednesday, October 1 at 3:30pm
Fields Corner- Monday, October 6 at 3:30pm
Codman Square- Monday, October 13 at 3:30pm
