Ashmont Nursery School is a non-profit, non-sectarian, cooperative pre-school for children aged 2.9 (as of September 1) to 5. Facilities include a spacious indoor play area with a wide variety of materials and a fully equipped outdoor play yard. The school is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC), and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). The school is a parent-run cooperative dedicated to fostering exploration, play, and the lifelong love of learning. Under the guidance and in partnership with our certified teachers, the parents form a community that encourages caring for all of the children and families, sharing ideas, skills, concerns, and values.

The school is hosting an Open House for families interested in Fall 2009 (and Fall 2010 for those of you who like to plan well in advance!) on Saturday, October 25, 2008 from 9:00 AM – Noon. Everyone is invited to tour the school, meet the dedicated staff, talk with some ANS families and have your questions answered. Children are welcome, refreshments will be served.
