Founded in 1881, The Boston Home is a sustaining community for adults with advanced Multiple Sclerosis and other progressive neurological diseases. It was named the standard for care by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in 2005.
The Boston Home is the only facility of its kind in New England and one of only a few in the United States. The Boston Home Institute advances standards for care through research and education. The Boston Home Outpatient Services provide therapeutic and social programs for outpatients. The Boston Home provides watercolor classes and a photography program for residents and outpatients, and an annual arts exhbition and celebration, At Home with the Arts. The Boston Home offers extensive training to employees, including language skills.
