Y/BPS, a partnership between BPS, the YMCA of Greater Boston, and Mayor Menino, has expanded into Dorchester. Y/BPS is aimed at helping parents answer the question, "Why Should I Consider the Boston Public Schools for My Child's Education?" Project Managers hold workshops, house parties, and attend neighborhood meetings and events to be informational resources for parents who have questions about the schools or want to understand the process of enrolling.
