&lt;p&gt;Persons are hired to become Boston firefighters from a list provided by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Every two years Massachusetts administers a statewide general aptitude entrance test for firefighters at various locations throughout the state. This test establishes a hiring list for cities and towns including the City of Boston. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;You must be at least nineteen (19) years of age at the time of the application deadline and be younger than thirty-two (32) as of the application deadline. Those persons who have served on active duty in the military may add those years served to the age thirty-two (32) limit, to a maximum of four (4) years. &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;You must be a resident of the City of Boston at least one (1) year &lt;strong&gt;prior &lt;/strong&gt;to the examination date to qualify for residency preference.  Applicants who have resided in the City of Boston for an entire twelve month period immediately preceding the date of examination are entitled to be placed on the eligible list for Boston ahead of any non-residents. &lt;/li&gt;

&lt;div&gt;&lt;font&gt;The Designery is currently looking for high school aged students to  participate in our fall workshop. We will be teaching students about  architecture and working alongside Boston architects and architectural students  in order to improve Roxbury streetscapes inside and out. &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;p&gt;1.If working as a mentor, plan creative ways to explore a variety of forms of artwork.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. Assess the teens&#039; abilities and interests and plan different art projects.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3.Plan field trips of interest to the art/photography group.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;4.As Art Editor, recruit art for each issue, as requested by Managing Editor and in compliance with /Teen Voices/&#039; guidelines and premises.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;5.Maintain a database of artists and organizations with teen artists and photographers.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;6.Work with local organizations to reach young women who are interested in having their artwork published.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;7.Maintain art production drawer.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;8.Ensure that artists receive free copies of / Teen Voices/.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;General work requirements:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;. Arrive for work and meetings promptly, and adhere to Women Express Inc.&#039;s policies regarding attendance.&lt;/p&gt;
